As Christmas is fast approaching (eek) I thought I’d pull together one of my favourite kinds of gift guide – for mums (and nans!).
We all think mums are easy to buy for, however with so many products on the market these days, that can prove quite difficult so I’ve whittled down three of my favourites for you!
First on my list is the L’Occitane Almond Voyage Collection* (£19) which includes the 75ml Almond Shower Oil, 30ml Almond Delicious Hands hand cream and an Almond Delicious Soaps bar! This particular set is perfect for anyone who enjoys indulgent skincare and bath-times – I know for sure my mum and even both of my nans will enjoy this! PLUS it also comes inside a gorgeous signature gift box. I’ve always been a fan of L’Occitane’s hand creams but I think I’m converted to their bathing products too now!
The scent of these products is absolutely phenomenal and super relaxing – just what you need on these cold and dark nights! It also lingers around for a while which is always nice as it makes the product feel that little bit more luxurious. I believe you can also get a similar set for the same price but it’s scented with Cherry Blossom here.

Next, sticking to the bathing theme, is the Sanctuary Spa Foaming Creamy Bath Soak (£12). I personally like this as I have sensitive skin and I feel like it’s one of few products that doesn’t give me dry, red patches! It also has a lovely perfumed scent to it (that isn’t too overwhelming) and with the added softness it gives your bath – it really is a nice way to wind down in the evenings!
If your loved one enjoys makeup as well as skincare, a pre-paid subscription to a beauty box makes a lovely (and long-lasting) gift! Birchbox is a bespoke subscription service where you’ll receive a box every month which contains 4-5 makeup and skincare products (which are usually travel-size). The box costs £10 a month (excluding p&p) and in the past I’ve seen the likes of Elemis, John Frieda and Rituals so you’re guaranteed to get something you’ll fall in love with! You can buy 3 months, 6 months or a 12 month subscription (all prices are here) so your loved one will continue to receive them long after Christmas!
What have you got your mum this year? Let me know!
*I was sent the L’Occitane gift set to feature in a post, however as always, all opinions are my own.
