Hellooo lovelys ♥
If you don’t know what Glossybox is, let me break it down for you:
Glossybox are a bespoke company who send you a personalised box of beauty samples (high-end and drugstore!) You get about 5 or 6 luxury sized and some full-sized products in each box every month for only £10 (plus £3.95 p&p). It’s such a good investment if you’re looking to try new brands, or if you just want a little present to yourself!
This month is definitely one of my favourite boxes I’ve ever received as it’s all makeup products! Before the box was sent out I got to choose (all Glossybox subscribers did, not just me) between a Spice box or a Sugar box which are all full-size makeup products *yay*. The spice box came with a red lippy whilst the sugar box came with a nude – and I picked the nude one, obvs hehe.
Soooo here’s what’s inside this months box:
MDMFlow Semi-Matte Lipstick in Bossy – MDMFlow.com, £18 (full size)
This lipstick shade was inspired by hip hop superstar Kelis – you know, ‘my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard‘. The whole of the MDMFlow range was inspired by hip hop, and being a hip hop fan myself I think this is a pretty cool idea. I have tired this lipstick, a lot actually, and it lasts really well and it’s such a stunning shade that’s suitable for all skin tones!
Essence Light Up Your Face Luminizer Palette – essence.eu/uk, £3 (full size)
Can we please ignore the state of my spray tan here 😂😛 I personally love this little palette and given the price, it’s actually pretty good! The highlights give off a subtle finish for a natural look. The colours are also not as dark as they appear to be in the pan!
GOSH Copenhagen Mono Eyeshadow in Dark Green – GOSH, £8.99 (full size)
This eyeshadow is stunning and I’ve never used anything like it! The pigmentation isn’t the best I’ve ever seen but you can still work with it, and with a colour this dark it’s probably for the best that the pigmentation isn’t amazing! I’m scared to use this as I don’t really experiment with dark colours but it is perfecttt for this time of year.
Revlon Nail Enamel in Gray Suede – Superdrug, £6.49 (full size)
I am a sucker for nude nail polish shades – purely because you can’t really notice when they chip #lazygirlprobs. I have used this range before and it is incredible so I’m excited to add this little gem to my collection!
Lipcote Browcote – lipcote.com, £6.99 (full size)
I have heard of Lipcote before and I was secretly hoping I would get that instead of Browcote, but hey ho, beggars can’t be choosers! This is a waterproof transparent gel that will tame and set your brows. It apparently lasts all day too, so good for the party season!
I hope this has given you some insight into Glossybox and this month was extra special! Are you subscribed or want to be subscribed? Let me know in the comments!
Mwahhhh, Lucy x
