LONG TIME NO SEE. I do apologise, but it’s that time of year when you ahve 3642 essays to write, 900 exams to revise for and a lot of Christmas shopping to do! BUT, I am planning to do blogmas this year so hopefully you’ll see much more of me ☺
I’ve decided I’m not going to do a monthly favourites anymore as I feel as though it’s a bit forced and the products can be pretty repetitive! Instead I’m going to do a seasonal favourites, or whenever I feel like my favourites have changed haha.
I have quite a few this month so let’s begin…
Milani Prep + Set + Go Pressed Powder – Milani, £9.99
This powder is probably one of my all time faves now! You apply it before makeup to minimise the size of pores and blemishes, as well as prepping the skin for makeup. You also apply it after your makeup to set it! It’s translucent as well so it’s perfect for all skin tones.
Seventeen Blush Powder in Plum Puff – Boots, £2.99
These blushes are SO affordable and the best thing is, they’re actually good as well! The powder literally feels like silk and they blend out really easily. This line comes in six other shades too so you can pick your fave. P.S – How perfect is this shade for the Fall/Winter?
I’m certain I’ve spoken about these lipsticks on here before, because I love them and there’s so many stunning shades to choose from. They last all day even through eating and drinking and they aren’t patchy or stiff either. On the Avon website you can currently get these for £5.50 each – bargain!
Hairon Zero Crease Hair Tie – Hairon, £3.99
I got these in one of my subscription boxes a while back (not gonna lie, I’m not very keen on the colour) and I use them constantly, that’s why they look mishaped hahaha. They come in a pack of three and they’re designed so that you don’t get kinks in your hair and they don’t snag when you take your hair down – I 100% agree with this! I have long and thick hair so finding the right hair tie is pretty difficult but these work like a dream (I’ve got them on my Christmas list hehe).
i-Divine Eyeshadow Palette in Goodnight Sweetheart – Sleek, £8.99
Sleek i-Divine palettes have been my all time favourite for a few years now and I’ve not found any others that blend out so flawlessly as these do! So, when this limited edition palette was released in Autumn, I had to get my mitts on it. The shades are gorgeous and soooo perfect for this season. Check out my Sleek Eyeshadow Palette swatch post here and here!
Maybelline Lash Sensational Waterproof Mascara – Boots, £7.99
This product is the mascara of the century. If you haven’t heard of it by now, you must be living under a rock! It gives your lashes the most beautiful curl and volume which lasts all day. I love the waterproof one because I can wear it to the gym, or when the weather is bad, and I know it’s not going to smudge!
Kat Von D Ink Liner – Debenhams, £16
NYX Vivid Brights Eyeliner in Sapphire – Boots, £5.50
Rimmel Soft Kohl Eyeliner – Superdrug, £2.99
This could not be a more random selection of eyeliners, but I love them all haha! In my opinion, the KVD Ink Liner is so much better than the Tattoo Liner as I feel as though you can create more of a defined cat eye. I love the NYX Bright eyeliner simply because it adds a gorgeous pop of colour to your look without going OTT. And finally the Rimmel White Eyeliner is a staple for any makeup lover to line your waterline to make your eyes appear bigger ☺
So here you have it, my random favourites for this season! What are your current favourites? I could do with some more products to play with!
