Review & Swatches: Illamasqua Vanita’s Rose Gold Palette

Hey guys ☺

I have been SO excited to do this blog post since I recieved my Illamasqua eyeshadow palette. Illamasqua launched their limited edition Vanita collection earlier this month, inspired by dark romance of 17th century still-life painting.

The collection consists of five lipsticks and the Rose Gold Eyeshadow Palette (£44). Can we please appreciate the physical aesthetic of this palette? I don’t know about you, but a pretty looking palette always catches my attention!

I’ve not had a proper chance to play around with this yet, but I have done some swatches of the shades so you guys can witness it in all of it’s glory and I’ll let you know my thoughts on the application.

With a mixture of shimmers, mattes, nudes, darks and the odd pop of colour, this palette has you covered for every occasion.

This palette includes 10 shades that are Illamasqua’s best sellers, as well as two brand new shades: plum and black coffee.

These shadows are extremely pigmented, which is always a tick in my box straight away. Application of the shadows is even better, a little goes a long way. They blend out effortlessly and the staying power is incredible. I had a difficult time just scrubbing them off my arm!

I can’t wait to see some of the looks that can be created with this palette!

Have you guys tried this out before?

Thanks for reading, as always!! Lucy x
