Hey guyss,
I’m bringing you a new type of post (well, new for me) today! I tend to steer away from these types as I’m not a very confident person, nor am I a makeup artist – but I thought I’d try it out today.
During summer, I don’t like to wear too much makeup because you know, it’s not a good look when you’re patchy and you’ve got mascara running down your face.
This isn’t my go-to look as I don’t wear eyeliner regularly, it’s just a nicer, everyday look.
Here are the products I used:
Base:
For my foundation I used the Max Factor Face Finity 3-in-1 (£12.99). I love this foundation purely because it actually does what it says – primes, conceals and makes your skin look flawless.
I used the Sonia Kashuk Brightening Powder under my eyes – this also stops my fine lines from creasing too!
I went over my whole face with the Natural Collection Loose Translucent Powder (£1.99 – lol).
Eyebrows:
To fill and line my brows I used the Sleek MakeUP Brow Kit in Medium (£8.49) and then blended the product in with a spoolie to get the natural faded effect.
I used the So Susan Haute Light Highlighting Pencil (£14.95) for underneath my brows.
Contour and Blush:
I don’t really like to heavily contour because I’m sooo pale. For this look I just used a bronzer to contour. The Bourjois Délice de Poudre Bronzing Powder and Highlighter (£7.99) is fab for people with a pale complexion. The highlight is gorgeous and subtle as well.
I used the Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in Nude Mauve (£8.99) for my cheeks. I love this for many reasons: it’s matte, buildable and it gives you that perfect flush without going over the top!
Eyes:
I used many products on my eyes so I will just link them below, we all know these products well I’m sure!
Benefit’s They’re Real! Tinted Primer (£18.50)
Benefit’s They’re Real! Mascara (£19.50)
Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner – comes with the brush! (£7.99)
P.S Eyeliner Pencil – can purchase in Primark stores (£1)
Lips:
Last but not least my lipstick! I tend not to use a lipliner when I’m wearing a creamy lipstick as I have to reapply it every half hour or so – and who has the time to do that?!
This one is from my favourite collection – the Kate Moss Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in the shade 38 (£5.49).
And there you have it! I’m thinking about doing some more of these kind of posts – especially when Autumn and Winter roll around as that’s when makeup gets really exciting!!
Mwah!
