June Glossybox 2016

Hey guyss,

My favourite time of the month is when my Glossybox arrives! If you don’t know what Glossybox is, then let me explain: it’s a monthly subscription service where you pay £10 a month (plus £3.75 delivery) and you recieve 4-5 beauty related items a month and more often than not, they are full size which is what makes this subscription box better than most.

So what came in this summer themed box?

The first thing that caught my eye – and the only makeup product this month – the Emite Cheek & Lip Tint (full size – £12.50). To be honest, I’m not really a fan of this. It’s a bit too watery for me which can make the whole look get messy, and it seems to be more pigmented on your fingertips than it does your face. But heyho, this was the first time I used it so I might end up warming to it!

The Ladival Sun Protection Spray SPF 15 (full size – £13.50) was the biggest product in this months box and it’s very fitting with the hotter months coming up. As it’s as low SPF personally I wouldn’t recommend using it if you’re visiting a hot country, it’s more suitable for British weather. I like that it’s a spray as well which makes the application process super quick and clean!

This Spa To You Natural Konjac Sponge (full size – £7.99) caught my eye too. I’ve seen these sponges everywhere but I’ve never tried one until now! The concept of this is that it’s made of entirely natural substances – mainly vegetable fibres – and you use it to cleanse your face as opposed to a flannel or cloth as it’s more gentle on the skin. I’ve used this a couple of times now with various cleansers and I must admit my skin feels a lot more fresh!

This Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Deep Conditioner (sample – £1.09) was a bonus product this month. I’m a massive fan of the Aussie range – let’s admit it, we all love it for the smell! However I’ve not actually used this product before so I’m excited to see how well it works. The full size price of this is £4.99, but you can usually pick it up in one of the offers from a drugstore!

The final products in the box are skincare products. The first one is the Origins GinZing Energy-Boosting Moisturiser (sample – £7.20). I believe there are four different versions of this, so you may have had a slightly different one in your box! But this high-end product smells amazing! I’ve used it once or twice and it didn’t leave my skin feeling oily or greasy – always a win. The full size is £24 for 100ml.
The second product is the De Bruyere After Sun Lotion (full size – £9.48) and this smells heavenly. Like cake, actual birthday cake. It’s enriched with monoi which is basically flower petals soaked in coconut oil which is so so good for your skin. This would be a good size to travel with if you’re going away this year! The link is to the products site, which is French and I can’t seem to find the aftersun on there, but hopefully you guys will have some luck!

I figured I might start including a grand total of the products in each months box, just to show you guys that you definitely do get your moneys worth of products! This months box came to a total of £51.76 and considering the box only costs a tenner, it’s a big bargain 🙂

If you’re interested in subscribing to Glossybox (no contract – can cancel when you like!) click here: https://www.glossybox.co.uk/referal?CI=MjQxMTg3 (just means we get free glossydots which gives you money off of your next box!)

I understand those of you who have also received this months box will probably notice the prices on this post are different to those on the sheet – I searched them up online and found the best prices for the products hence why they’re different!

Thanks guyss ♥♥
