Hi guysss,
Well my second year of university is finally over *thank goodness* so I can get back on track with my blogging!!
I wanted to show you some of the products I’ve been loving this month ♥
First is this MAC Retro Matte Lipstick in Steady Going (£15.50). I’m not a pink lipstick lover but I thought with summer coming up why not branch out and try something new? I love mattes as they’re so long lasting and MAC’s range isn’t uncomfortable on the lips either.
Rimmel Good to Glow (£4.99) is one of my favourite drugstore liquid highlighers! It works really well mixed in with a liquid foundation too. It’s in the shade Soho Glow which is a neutral/tan colour. I prefer dabbing this on the tops of my cheekbones with a damp beauty blender for a nice subtle highlight – works really well without foundation too!
MUA are famous for their highlights – I have them all but the Radiant Cashmere (£3) shade has been my favourite out of all of them this month. This colour looks especially good when you’ve got a tan!
This Makeup Revolution Pro Fix Oil Control Setting Spray (£5)has been my life! I suffer from oily skin, particularly on my t-zone so I picked this up a few months back to see if it was any good. I must admit after a few hours my skin does get oily – especially on my nose – but this spray has definitely tamed it.
I don’t know about you, but I get super spotty when the weather gets warmer *cry* so I try my best to conceal them. Although this Seventeen Phwoarr Paint (£5.49) is supposed to be a heavy duty undereye concealer, I use it for my spots and it’s amazing! I blend it out with a damp beauty blender and my spots are nowhere to be seen.
There has been two brushes I’ve been using everyday this month – the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush (£9.99) and the ELF Smudge Brush (£4.50). The expert face brush is super soft like the collection however it’s more firm which makes it perfect for primers, foundations and other cream/liquid based face products. The ELF brush I use mainly for smudging out my eyeliner or applying shadow to my lower lash line. It blends the product out so well and it’s super cheap too. I’m sad because I brought this brush in NYC and I can’t find it on the UK website 😦 however I’ve linked you guys a similar one!
This is a ‘YouTube made me buy it product’. The Too Faced Better Than Sex Masacra (£19) has been a staple this past month! It gives your lashes sooo much volume and length that lasts all day without crumbling or sliding down your face! I love it so much, definitely one that I’ll be repurchasing over and over again.
What have you guys been loving this month?
