My Top 5 Affordable Lipsticks

I love a good bit of lippy and you can’t go wrong when it’s afforable too! So here are my favourite 5 (drugstore if you wish) lipsticks from my collection.

Not gonna lie, 4 out of 5 of these lippies are nudes – both matte and satin however they have different undertones which give them a unique finish. Please excuse my lips, I am covered in spots at the moment so I did my best to hide them haha!

This one is a Lasting Finish by Rimmel lipstick (my absolute faves!!) from the Kate Moss collection in the shade 03. Its a satin finish and a gorgeous nude which I think has a peachy/mauvey undertone. These lipsticks need reapplying when you eat, but they go on so smoothly that it’s not a problem! It retails at £5.49 and you can purchase it here.

This is the Maybelline Colour Sensational Matte lipstick in the shade 930 Nude Embrace. It’s a very cool toned nude (excuse the shape of my lips in this haha!!) and it applies nude which is what I like. It’s very comfortable to wear considering it’s matte and it doesn’t dry your lips out at all! You can purchase it for £6.99 here.

Ooh this one is one of my favourite coral shades. It’s from the Rimmel Lasting Finish collection in the shade 210 Coral In Gold. It’s a gorgeous almost orangey coral with a subtle gold shimmer in it! So perfect for spring and summer. Just like the previous Kate Moss lipstick, it doesn’t stay when you eat but it’s so smooth to reapply. This one is £4.99 and you can buy it here.

This is again from the Rimmel Lasting Finish Kate Moss collection (is it obvious that I love these?) in the shade 43. These lippies are super affordable and they are all gorgeous! This one is also a satin finish but it’s a very nude, almost flesh coloured lipstick – this would be lovely on dark skin. I really like the pale pink packaging too, a very girly touch! It’s priced at £5.49 and you can get your own here.

Finally, a lipstick that isn’t Rimmel! It’s the Avon Perfectly Matte lipstick (or as they call it ‘More Matte Than MAC’) in the shade Au Naturele. Now I don’t own a matte MAC lipstick so I’m sad that I’ve got nothing to compare it to! But it is super matte and super smooth. This one has more of an orange undertone. This is a good nude shade for the autumn and colder weather. These are usually £8 but right now they’ve got an offer on so they’re only £5! Get yours here.

Hope you’ve enjoyed these little swatches! Also keep your eyes peeled as Superdrug and Boots love a 3 for 2 offer on a lot of their cosmetics so get your hands on a bargain!
