Hi guysss,
I finally managed to get my hands on one of Sleek’s new cream contour palettes! They were released on the 6th April this year (I think) and since then they have been sold out EVERYWHERE. But yesterday the nice lady in my local Boots spent ages searching for one for me! You can get your own here for £10.99.
Of course, I could have ordered online, but I prefer to have a proper look when purchasing makeup in case I don’t like the formula/shade or whatever. Plus I’m very impatient so I don’t like waiting for deliveries!
If you haven’t noticed by now, I am obsessed with Sleek. Easily one of my favourite makeup brands! And since I’ve never used cream based products to contour before, I thought I’d give this one a try!
The palette is available in three shades – Light, Medium and Dark. I opted for light, because my skin colour is the same as a bottle of milk. However, when swatching this palette I should have gone for medium as I do like a defined contour – but I can make this palette work!
The packaging is very sleek as usual (pardon the pun) and very Nars-esque. I do love a good packaging.
The shade names are so simple too – shades 1-6. 1 being the lightest shade and 6 the darkest.
What I liked about this palette is that it came with a little guide on how to contour using this palette and where to apply each shade on your face – perfect for beginners.
The colours blend so easily and didn’t sit funny on my skin unlike some that I’ve used. I used my finger to apply my contour as I found this was the easiest and then blended it out with a beauty blender. My only issue is that it did settle into my fine lines under my eyes, however with a bit of setting powder it wasn’t much of a problem!
Deffo give this palette 5 stars!
Thanks for reading, hope it’s given you some insight!
I love your photos and this post! 🙂

It really is! The light palette is good for natural contouring but if you like a defined contour deffo go for medium or dark! Thank you 😘
